Why this service?
More and more "big operators" (not to say GAFAM) hosting our users' mailboxes are increasingly restricting email sending to their own "protocols" or making SMTP usage more and more complicated. We therefore thought it would be interesting to offer a normal SMTP service to Dolibarr users to make sending emails from Dolibarr as natural as possible.

A free module to simplify your configuration
DoliSMTP is also a free module for Dolibarr that allows you to configure all the "email sending and tracking" part for your Dolibarr!
How does it work?
DoliSMTP integrates seamlessly with Dolibarr to manage your emails transparently.
Sending emails
Messages sent via Dolibarr pass through the DoliSMTP server to reach your recipients. Each email contains a unique identifier (X-Dolibarr-TRACKID and Message-ID) stored in the database for tracking.
Client replies
When your recipients reply, DoliSMTP verifies the Dolibarr identifier in the email header. Valid messages are stored in the local IMAP account for Dolibarr retrieval, with a copy sent to your contact address.
Internal responses
Your team members can reply directly from their email client. DoliSMTP routes these messages to maintain communication history accessible from Dolibarr.
Periodic synchronization
Dolibarr regularly polls the IMAP inbox to retrieve messages and properly assign them using the unique identifiers in email headers.
